Recently, Xiaoju Energy CTO Liao Lanxin was invited to attend the 10th China International Electric Vehicle Charging and Swapping Industry Conference 2024, where he shared Xiaoju Charging's technical exploration of balancing station operation efficiency and user experience in the supercharging era, and unveiled the independently developed intelligent supercharging solution.
"As a digital charging operator under Didi, Xiaoju Charging focuses on improving the two-way efficiency of user experience and station operations. This solution can effectively solve the difficulties encountered in actual operations. At present, Xiaoju Charging plans to open this solution to the entire industry to jointly promote the development of a high-quality supercharging network." said Liao Lanxin.
Xiaoju Charging's publicized intelligent supercharging solution covers all scenarios including device hardware, device cloud platform, user experience, and merchant operation, in order to further increase the efficiency of supercharging layout. Liao Lanxin announced four key technologies for intelligent supercharging covering all scenarios.
In terms of equipment, the granularity of charging modules, the size of shared power pools, and the flexibility of power allocation are the core factors that affect the operating efficiency of stations. Xiaoju Charging has realized a full-matrix flexible power stack. By pooling all charging modules, it realizes the dynamic allocation of charging guns. It can now mass-produce high-efficiency modules with a full-load efficiency of 96.3%. It also realizes the optimal solution for the global coordinated dispatch of vehicle power demand, station box transformer load, and grid demand response through a cloud platform based on the global coordinated power dispatch technology of the parking lot network, helping the station to increase the average daily speed by about 8% during peak hours.
In addition, Xiaoju Charging's automatic acceleration experience technology based on the collaboration of the car-pile cloud enables a power acceleration experience during the user's charging process, and has started 210,000 accelerations since its launch. It also uses supercharging operation technology based on thermal radar and business models to conduct user demand analysis, operation effect analysis, and station operation model decision-making, helping merchants to make scientific decisions on station supercharging configurations.
In September 2023, Xiaoju Charging publicly released the smart charging pile solution to help emerging charging pile companies improve quality and efficiency, and enhance the charging experience and operation and maintenance efficiency; in March 2024, Xiaoju Charging launched the "Hundred Cities and Thousands of Stations" supercharging plan, and will further cooperate with the ecosystem to build a high-quality supercharging network covering 100 cities across the country.
"We will continue to disclose intelligent technologies and work with upstream, midstream and downstream industries to promote high-quality development of charging infrastructure." Liao Lanxin said. So far, Xiaoju Charging has submitted 347 domestic and foreign patents, of which 121 have been authorized, covering many key charging technology fields such as intelligent hardware, safety protection, user experience, power dispatching, intelligent operation and maintenance, and intelligent supercharging.
