5C ultra-fast charging G-moment battery: 80% charge in 9.8 minutes

The brilliant announcement by Dr. Cao Yong, Vice President of Gotion High-Tech Industrial Research Institute, made the 5C super-fast charging solution of G-eng Battery the focus of the whole audience. It can replenish 80% of energy in 9.8 minutes of charging and 90% of energy in 15 minutes of charging. It supports full-scenario applications such as pure electric and extended-range hybrid, and covers lithium iron phosphate, lithium iron manganese phosphate and ternary systems. The battery pack products equipped with G-eng battery cells have many innovative designs and safety applications in design. The super-large module-free design reduces the number of parts by 30%. The system's Z-direction ultra-thin design can adapt to a variety of models such as coupes and SUVs. The direct connection BMS+FDC design reduces the wiring harness by 80%. Through nano-insulation and ceramic composite insulation, "0" heat diffusion between battery cells is achieved. Cao Yong said that the large power and super-fast charging capabilities of the G-eng battery system are inseparable from the breakthroughs in materials and full-stack self-developed battery cell technology. High-nickel ternary Xingchen Battery: The seventh-generation factory reduces comprehensive manufacturing costs by 50%
Cheng Qian, president of Gotion High-tech's Asia Pacific business and dean of the International Engineering Research Institute, said in the release that the new generation of Star Battery is the company's latest ternary system 46 large cylindrical product, which has high energy density, ultra-long cycle life, and can achieve 4C fast charging. It will be produced by Gotion High-tech's seventh-generation factory.
The new generation of Star Battery uses the second-generation silicon-carbon material and ultra-fast electrolyte developed by Guoxuan High-tech, and adopts gradient electrodes and new structural parts in design, achieving high energy density and fast charging of the battery cell. Its mass energy density reaches 285Wh/kg, volume energy density reaches 775Wh/L, and it can maintain 70% of its health status after 2,500 cycles at room temperature, achieving an ultra-long cycle life. The fast charging performance of the Star Battery is also excellent, and it can achieve 4C fast charging, replenishing energy from 10% to 70% in 9 minutes.
The breakthrough of Star Battery comes not only from product research and development, but also from the vertical integration of Guoxuan High-tech's advanced manufacturing and supply chain, which makes the product have obvious comprehensive advantages. Guoxuan High-tech officially entered the field of solid-state batteries, with the protagonist being "Jinshi Battery". Dr. Pan Ruijun, chief engineer of the all-solid-state battery project, introduced that the team achieved a technological breakthrough in the material end of all-solid-state batteries through micro-nano solid electrolytes, ultra-thin film-coated single crystal positive electrodes, and three-dimensional mesoporous silicon negative electrodes. At present, the 30Ah all-solid-state battery cell can achieve a mass energy density of 350Wh/kg and a volume energy density of 800Wh/L, which is 40% higher than the mainstream ternary lithium battery. The number of cycles of its battery system can reach more than 3,000 times, which can easily achieve a million kilometers of mileage in the entire life cycle of electric vehicles. At present, Jinshi Battery has passed the 200-degree hot box test at one time, and its safety far exceeds the national standard requirements. The PACK designed based on Jinshi Battery has an 80% mass grouping rate, a system energy density of 280Wh/kg, and a single-charge range of up to 1,000KM. The manufacturing process of solid-state batteries has always been a difficulty that has plagued the industry.
