According to foreign media reports, on March 20, local time, Upstream Security announced the launch of an advanced generative artificial intelligence (AI) function - Ocean AI, which can achieve effective cybersecurity risk remediation. Upstream currently monitors millions of connected vehicles and Internet of Things (IoT) devices around the world, monitors billions of API (application program interface) transactions every month, and collects massive and diverse network and product-related data sets. Upstream's Ocean AI capabilities are built into Upstream's Mobility Detection & Response platform (M-XDR), allowing OEMs and IoT providers to efficiently analyze large amounts of network alert information and data, detect patterns, accelerate network security operations, and automate investigations . Ocean AI can empower the next generation of mobility and vehicle safety operations centers (vSOC) to achieve unparalleled efficiency, high scalability and optimized performance.

Ocean AI enables customers to ask direct conversational and natural language (NLP) questions and obtain answers from massive data sets analyzed by the M-XDR platform. Based on the large language model (LLM), Ocean AI analyzes data from various sources and mobility asset data, and connects the originally isolated data to provide a comprehensive perspective, thereby providing high efficiency and optimized performance for mobility or vehicle SOC. .

Ocean AI can derive complex insights and conduct sophisticated investigations directly on Upstream’s digital twin (a near-real-time representation of an asset’s condition) model. Based on the rich data on the digital twin model, Ocean AI can provide a simple and efficient method to access external data sources such as IP blacklists, weather information, and traffic information. In addition, Ocean AI can integrate threat intelligence data content to expand the scope of risk assessment.
