The new Wenxian micro high-side switch solves the problems of insufficient flexibility, high power consumption and easy EMC interference brought by traditional fuses and relays. In complex automotive electronic systems, it can not only drive and shut down the load, but also achieve multi-functional, higher degree of protection and diagnosis of the load. It has obvious advantages in the three major aspects of electric wire heating, power transmission and power transmission.
The WS7 series of high-side switches abandon the traditional single-wire connection between the automotive module and the battery, greatly saving the automotive wiring harness between the two, reducing the occupation of invalid space, thereby reducing the weight of the vehicle body and reducing the occurrence of failures. The WS7 series of smart high-side switches from Wenxianwei can control, diagnose and protect the car through different numbers of channels, drive the ground load application of 12V cars, and play advanced protection and diagnosis functions, including overheat shutdown protection with configurable latching function, dynamic over-temperature protection, load overcurrent protection, high-precision proportional load current detection, output overload and short-circuit alarm to ground, and VCC short-circuit diagnosis and OFF state open-circuit diagnosis. The entire series of smart high-side switches can be used to drive various resistive, inductive and capacitive loads in the body control domain, covering a variety of application scenarios such as interior lights, head and tail lights, seat and steering wheel and rearview mirror heating, solenoid valves, door locks, motors, etc.
