Huineng Technology: The world’s first solid-state battery production line goes into production
According to news on February 23, Huineng Technology recently announced that the world’s first solid-state battery production line has been officially put into production. It is said that Huineng Technology’s solid-state battery samples have been sent to major new energy vehicle companies for testing and module development. According to reports, the solid-state battery produced by the factory is a large lithium ceramic battery (LLCB). In terms of performance, it can charge up to 80% of the power in 12 minutes, and when fully charged, it can achieve a range of over 1,000km for electric vehicles. recharge mileage. In addition, the solid-state battery has a charge-discharge cycle life of more than 1,000 times and is not affected by extreme cold weather of -30°C.
In January this year, Huineng Technology announced the completion of the world's first gigabit solid-state lithium ceramic battery factory, Taoke Factory. The factory mainly produces electric vehicle batteries and plans to supply electric vehicle manufacturers this year. The factory has invested NT$4.2 billion (approximately 960 million yuan) and has an initial production capacity of 0.5G Wh , which can be used by 14,000 cars. The final production capacity will be expanded to 2GWh, which can provide batteries for up to 26,000 electric vehicles based on demand . The production line is expected to be completed and put into production in 2027. In addition, Huineng Technology is also accelerating its overseas expansion. In May 2023, Huineng Technology announced that its first overseas factory will be located in Dunkirk, France. It is reported that the investment in the factory will reach 5.2 billion euros (approximately 40.614 billion yuan) by 2030, with a planned annual production capacity of 120GWh and is expected to be put into operation in 2026. Public information shows that Huineng Technology was founded in 2006 and invented the world's first solid-state lithium ceramic battery. At this stage, Huineng Technology is working hard to build production capacity. In addition to the Taiwan G2 factory put into production above, the Taiwan G1 factory is under planning, with an estimated production capacity of 40GWh, mainly for consumer electronics and wearable electronics .
Times Changan: 6 production lines of 1 battery cell per second are about to reach full production
According to news on February 26, Times Changan has risen rapidly since it was put into production last year and has become a new landmark in Yibin’s power battery industry. After resuming work this year, production capacity will achieve new breakthroughs.
In November 2023, Times Changan's first battery cell product was officially rolled off the assembly line at Times Changan's Yibin factory in Sanjiang New District, Yibin. The project was jointly established by CATL, Changan Automobile and Deep Blue Automobile. This project adopts the latest generation of super wire drawing technology in the industry, which can achieve ultra-high flexibility and rapid model change. The factory automation rate reaches more than 95%. In the whole cycle from material input to finished product output, one battery cell can be produced in 1 second, which is faster than The traditional method is more than half as fast. According to Bai Gang, deputy general manager of Times Changan, a total of 8 production lines are planned for the project. Currently, two automated production lines have been put into production. The products include 88Ah and other standard battery cells, which are mainly supplied to Changan Automobile's brands Deep Blue, Changan Qiyuan, and Ah Vita and many other models. Another four production lines have been built and are currently in the debugging stage. It is expected that by the end of this year, two more production lines will be put into production and the goal of reaching full production will be achieved. It is said that the fast charging capacity of the batteries produced by this project has doubled compared with the previous period, and the charging time of the entire series from 30% to 80% under normal temperature has been shortened to 15 minutes, making it easy to replenish energy. At the same time, through big data gene selection of long-life materials, the cycle life of the battery core can reach more than 2,000 cycles, which is nearly doubled from the previous time, and can meet the ultra-long life demand of 300,000 kilometers in 10 years for the entire vehicle.
Yiwei Lithium Energy: Project construction accelerated and over 5.3 million batteries rolled off the production line
On February 18, the first steel structure member of Yiwei Lithium Energy's super factory 60A project in Jingmen, Hubei Province began to be hoisted, which marked that the project has entered the accelerated construction stage. It is reported that the project plans to invest 10.8 billion yuan to build a new 60GWh power energy storage battery super factory. After the completion of the super factory, it is expected to become the largest single lithium battery production factory in the world.
In addition to the above projects, Yiwei Lithium Energy has also deployed a large cylindrical battery factory (Factory 14) with an annual production capacity of 20GWh in Jingmen. The first phase of the project has been put into production in February 2023, and the first batch of equipment for the second phase will also be launched in 2023. Start entering the market at the end of the year. Up to now, more than 5.3 million units of Yiwei Lithium Energy 46 series large cylindrical batteries have been rolled off the production line, and commercial delivery and application have been officially achieved. According to Yiwei Lithium Energy's prediction, by 2025, Yiwei Lithium Energy's planned production capacity of large cylindrical batteries will exceed 100GWh. As of 2023, large cylindrical lithium iron phosphate batteries have achieved a total customer intention demand of approximately 88GWh in the next five years. Three Yuanta cylindrical batteries have also achieved customer intended demand totaling approximately 392GWh in the next five years. Currently, Yiwei Lithium Energy is performing well in terms of global market share of power batteries. For the whole year of 2023, Yiwei Lithium Energy's domestic power battery installed capacity reached 17.2 6G Wh, ranking fourth, and its ranking improved by 2 places. Moreover, its installed capacity increased by 140% year-on-year, and its growth rate ranked first.
