According to foreign media reports, researchers at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) and their industry partners recently demonstrated new battery charging technology to the US Department of Energy that may ultimately accelerate Electric vehicle (EV) charging time.

"Charging electric vehicles has gotten faster over the years, but it's still faster than many people expect," said Dr. Jonathan Kimball, the Fred W. Finley Distinguished Professor and chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Missouri S&T. We are solving this problem by developing new charging technologies that make it easier to use and significantly speed up the charging process.”
