Recently, China Electronics Technology has collaborated with upstream and downstream companies to release dozens of domestic automotive chips and other electronic products.

Currently, future automobiles are developing toward electrification, intelligence, networking, and sharing. The number of automobile chips used and performance index requirements have doubled, and they have become a core link supporting the development of the automobile industry. According to relevant statistics, it is expected that electronic devices and systems such as automobile chips will account for 50% of the total cost of automobiles in 2030.

Fu Bingfeng, executive vice president and secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, believes that it is necessary to form a joint force among vehicle, chip, software, parts companies, universities, etc. to accelerate the research and development and breakthrough of common automotive chip technologies to jointly create a future automotive industry chain and supply chain. Chain new ecology. With the vigorous development of the domestic new energy vehicle market, the automotive chip industry standard system is about to emerge.

According to Xu Yaozong, director of the China Automotive Strategy and Policy Research (Beijing) Center of the China Automotive Industry Center, a total of three batches of standard project drafting groups have been launched for automotive chip standard work since this year, and the standard system will be released soon. Among them, the third batch includes standard projects for automotive MCU chips, in-car communication chips, storage chips, and lidar chips.

It is reported that as early as June 2021, the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance established a research working group on the construction of an automotive chip standard system. The working group was jointly led by the National Innovation Center, the Fourth Institute of Electronics, and the China Automotive Center, and included upstream and downstream industry chain About 60 units participated in the research, including Tsinghua Unigroup, Jingwei Hengrun, Wingtech Technology, Huada Semiconductor, Zhixin Micro, SAIC, Changan Automobile, Xinchi Semiconductor, Silan Micro, etc.

In July this year, the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance released the "Research Results on the Construction of Automotive Chip Standard System", formulating and releasing 15 standards within the automotive chip standard system, involving general requirements for automotive control chips, communication chips, and power semiconductors. Reliability, functional safety, system matching test, vehicle matching test and other fields.

Dong Yang, co-chairman of the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance, believes that the China Automotive Chip Alliance has established an automotive chip standard system architecture and formed an automotive chip standard research project in four major areas: basic requirements, general requirements, product application technical conditions, and matching tests. The details point out the development direction for the standardization of domestic automotive chip technology and support the roadmap for automotive chip standardization that is being compiled.
