On August 24, the "2021 Changan Automobile Technology Ecosystem Conference" series of activities hosted by Changan Automobile officially started in Chongqing. At the conference, Changan Automobile officially released the company's "New Automobile New Ecosystem" development strategy, and demonstrated a series of new technologies, fully presenting Changan Automobile's future development blueprint.
Innovation and co-creation of new cars, openness and win-win new ecology
In the global environment of energy conservation and emission reduction, the heated discussion on the topic of "carbon neutrality and carbon peak" has affected the entire automotive industry. Even though automobiles are gradually transitioning to electrification, it is still necessary to continuously improve technology to make new energy electric vehicle products more efficient.
Changan Automobile demonstrated its new generation of super-set electric drive system technology at the conference. Judging from the name, "super-set" is the keyword of this technology. Electric drive systems are often composed of a large number of electronic components, but due to the technical level of early electric drive systems, each electronic component was separated separately, so the volume and weight were relatively large, and it was not very efficient.
Changan launches new generation super electric drive system
Based on this series of problems, major automobile companies have begun to study the issue of electric drive integration. Changan's new generation super-collective electric drive system also uses the same type of technology. Through the deep integration of technology, it deeply integrates multiple functions such as motors, reducers, motor controllers, DCDC, DCAC, DC boost, high-voltage distribution lines, and AC charging into one, making the electric drive system more compact, while also improving power density and efficiency, and effectively reducing noise.
Changan's new generation super electric drive system
Not only that, Changan positions the new generation of super-collector electric drive system as an ultra-high efficiency electric drive system. The ultra-high electric drive assembly it adopts has a maximum efficiency of over 95%, which can effectively reduce power consumption. The application of electric drive high-frequency pulse heating technology, combined with electric drive waste heat recovery technology, can not only allow the vehicle to be used normally in the extreme low temperature of -30℃ in the northern winter, but also effectively increase the low temperature cruising range in winter to 40-70km.
In order to achieve high efficiency, Changan's new generation of super electric drive system has made many technical improvements. For mechanical parts, Changan Automobile selected ultra-low viscosity lubricants, combined with low-resistance oil seal design technology, high-precision gear processing technology, active lubrication and other drag reduction measures, and finally achieved a 3%-5% improvement in mechanical efficiency.

For electronic devices, Changan Automobile uses a rectangular winding motor that uses ultra-thin silicon steel sheets, ultra-integrated technology, and oil cooling technology, coupled with ultra-high efficiency power semiconductors and 240-800V ultra-wide voltage coverage, which increases the overall electromagnetic efficiency by 5%-8%.
When it comes to energy conservation and emission reduction, users do not need to look at things from a macro perspective, because there are companies like Changan Automobile that exist to improve efficiency through technological advancement, reduce car usage costs for users, and provide a better user experience.
