For users, the biggest worry about using electric vehicles is the battery loss in the later stage. In the end, they have to replace the battery at a high cost, or have to wait helplessly for the charging time.
Geely Yiyi Technology brought the one-minute battery replacement technology to the Chongqing Auto Show on June 12, eliminating the worries of electric car users.
The essence of this is that the car-battery separation mode is adopted, that is, the principle that the mobile phone and the battery can be separated. When buying a car, you can choose to buy only the body. The battery uses a leasing model, which reduces the initial car purchase cost by 40%. If the battery is leased, there is no need to worry about battery loss caused by charging.
Yiyi Internet Technology's battery exchange technology platform has the characteristics of high modularity, high compatibility, high safety and high intelligence. Through centralized battery charging management, it can extend the battery life to 8 years and 600,000 kilometers.
At the charging station, the battery can be replaced within one minute with the help of electronic mechanical equipment. This speed is shorter and faster than refueling a gasoline car!
Of course, the first thing to solve in the battery replacement model is the implementation of battery swap stations. Since the first battery swap station was established in Chongqing in September 2020, Yiyi Internet Technology's smart battery swap stations have now covered more than a dozen provinces and cities including Hangzhou, Tianjin, Qingdao, Chengdu, Haikou, and Nanjing, and have reached cooperation agreements with domestic and foreign regions such as Guangxi, Jiangxi, and Laos. A total of more than 1,000 battery swap stations have been signed, and it is expected that by 2025, 5,000 smart battery swap stations will be operated worldwide.
With the promotion of national policies on new energy vehicles, more and more electric vehicles are entering thousands of households. The supporting charging and battery replacement technologies and battery replacement station industries have broad prospects and can provide users with a convenient and practical car-using mode of separating the car and the battery.
