CATL:
The company ranks first in the world in terms of power battery scale, focusing on square batteries, and its soft-pack battery technology is mature. Its products take into account safety, driving range, cycle life and other characteristics, and have obvious comprehensive performance advantages. At the same time, CATL has a strong control over suppliers, and its costs are about 15% lower than those of its overseas counterparts. In terms of energy density, the current energy density of the battery group is about 160-180wh/kg, and the subsequent gradual promotion of CTP technology can increase the energy density by 10-15%. The company plans to sign a procurement agreement with Tesla in the United States and Tesla in China, and plans to start supplying on July 1, 20, with a term of 2 years.
