According to foreign media reports, BrightWay Vision announced the addition of strategic and venture capital investors and completed a $25 million Series B financing, which will be mainly used for the commercialization of the company's automotive gated imaging system to achieve mass production. The investment came from KOITO Manufacturing Co., the world's largest automotive headlight manufacturer, and Israel's Magenta Venture Partners.

BrightWay Vision's system can image in poor visibility conditions such as darkness and bad weather. The system combines CMOS sensors and on-board light sources to produce clear images within a range of 0 to 250 meters. The solution divides the imaging range into several parts, and computer vision analyzes each part separately and generates an image. This technology will enable AI to work at night and in low visibility conditions, and even detect small debris on the road.

The product is mature in terms of price and performance, and helps autonomous vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems to image in poor visibility conditions. The world's leading OEMs and Tier1s have successfully tested its prototype. KOITO conducted in-depth experiments on BrightWay Vision's technology. After the successful experiments, KOITO decided to invest in the company, which will help accelerate the product's entry into the global automotive market.

Ofer David, CEO and co-founder of BrightWay Vision, said, “We are very pleased with the investment from KOITO and Magenta and the value they bring. KOITO’s investment paves the way for us to enter the market in a short period of time. The funds will be used to commercialize our technology and help expand R&D activities.”

“This collaboration will provide our OEM customers with BrightWay Vision’s autonomous driving vision solutions,” said Hideharu Konagaya, Senior Managing Director of KOITO. “BrightWay Vision’s technology will be integrated with KOITO products to provide automakers with a reliable, all-weather solution.”
