Engine. The hybrid system is equipped with the country's first independently developed Atkinson cycle engine dedicated to hybrid power, with a maximum power of 84kW/6000rpm and a maximum torque of 150Nm/4000-6000rpm. It is not uncommon for hybrid systems to be equipped with Atkinson cycle engines. Toyota Prius, which has more mature hybrid technology, also uses Atkinson cycle engines.
Drive motor: The drive motor of the hybrid system is a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor with a maximum power of 28kW/2450-6000rpm and a maximum torque of 110Nm/0-2450rpm.
Gearbox. The gearbox is a thrust V-type steel belt CVT continuously variable transmission with a maximum input torque of 180Nm and a total speed ratio range of 12.685-2.305.
● Technical features of parallel hybrid system
Changan Automobile's hybrid system uses an H-series 1.6L Atkinson cycle engine in parallel with a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor, which is a common parallel hybrid system. The characteristics are that the engine and the motor can drive the car alone or together. It is reported that this single-motor parallel system has a high transmission efficiency and can save more than 35% of fuel.
This hybrid system shares technology with the ISG mild hybrid and can be expanded into a plug-in hybrid. Only one motor system can be used to expand two systems, saving costs to a certain extent.
This system is equipped with a thrust V-type steel belt CVT continuously variable transmission, which helps improve driving smoothness while reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
Summary: In the current environment of energy shortage and environmental protection, hybrid power and other energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies have become the focus of automotive technology research and development of major automobile manufacturers. Changan Automobile's hybrid power system also uses some current mainstream technologies, but the manufacturer has not yet announced when this system will be used and the model it will be used on.
