The reporter learned from Changzhou University on the 21st that the school's scientific research team has successfully developed an electronic transformer tester consisting of software algorithms, hardware drivers, and intelligent fixtures, achieving a technological breakthrough in testing frequencies from 2MHz to 5MHz, filling the gap in the domestic high-frequency band electronic transformer testing field.

Mo Qi, associate professor of the Robotics Industry College of Hua Luogeng College of Changzhou University, introduced that this is the only tester in China that can test the parameters of electronic transformers under wide frequency conditions of 20 Hz to 5 MHz, and can be used in application scenarios such as gigabit network cards, transformer equipment, and micro motors. At present, three invention patents have been applied for, and the prototype has passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal of the China Machinery Industry Federation, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level.

"my country's electronics industry is developing rapidly. It is estimated that by 2023, the market size of electronic components alone will reach 2.1 trillion yuan. As one of the basic components in the electronics industry, the performance parameters of electronic transformers directly affect the performance, safety and other indicators of electronic products. Electronic transformer testing has become an indispensable link in the electronics industry chain and is widely used in consumer electronics, national defense and military industry, medical equipment and other fields. However, for many years, the market for high-precision testers has been monopolized by foreign countries. Therefore, two years ago, under the guidance of our tutor, our team began to independently develop high-frequency and high-efficiency electronic transformer parameter testers." said Xue Zisheng from Hua Luogeng College of Changzhou University.

Xue Zisheng told reporters that in the past two years, a research team composed of teachers and students from multiple disciplines has tackled key core technologies such as 20Hz~5MHz test signal source, automatic balancing bridge under wide-band conditions, matrix fixture intelligent scanning, and automatic balancing bridge frequency expansion. For example, in the 20Hz~5MHz test signal source technology, the system uses a controllable gain amplifier circuit based on an analog multiplier to implement the level adjustment of the signal source in sections, and uses the amplification-attenuation method to reduce noise, laying the foundation for the balance of the bridge; the automatic balancing bridge technology under wide-band conditions uses a new vector synthesis technology to generate a high-precision error signal source to ensure the stable balance of the bridge.

The reporter learned that the tester can realize high-precision automatic testing of electronic transformer performance parameters under wide-band conditions within the 20Hz-5MHz wide-band range. The trial report of the prototype at Sichuan Changhong Device Technology Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Ruibo Electric Co., Ltd. shows that the fastest measurement speed can reach 13ms, and the stability of the test can be guaranteed. The repeated test values of the same product are consistent, which greatly improves the efficiency of batch testing. In addition, the stability of the test can be guaranteed while performing high-speed testing, effectively improving production efficiency.

"At present, we are accelerating the industrialization of this technological achievement. After mass production in the future, it will hopefully break the foreign monopoly and effectively solve the problems of large manual errors and long testing time in actual testing scenarios of related industries in China," said Mo Qi.
