The split-flow rotor steam flowmeter is mainly composed of three parts: throttle body, damper and indicator. It is a differential pressure-split principle instrument. After the measured medium steam enters the throttle body of the flowmeter, part of it passes through the throttle orifice plate of the main pipeline, and part of it flows through the jet nozzle through the split pipe and jets to the impeller, forming a torque on the impeller, so that the impeller drives the wheel shaft to rotate. The damping blade is installed at the lower part of the wheel shaft, which is installed in the damping chamber filled with damping liquid, so that the rotation of the impeller is restricted, so its rotation speed is much slower than the steam spray speed. Therefore, the impeller can effectively absorb the function of the steam spray speed, so that its rotation speed corresponds to the torque and damping torque caused by the steam spray, and a certain quantitative relationship is formed. The impeller speed is proportional to the flow rate.
