Design of a new error amplifier based on PWMA new error amplifier with high gain, wide bandwidth and controllable output swing is designed. By adding two comparator modules A2 and A3, the output swing of the error amplifier can be adjusted with the different input voltage Vr of the control end, which increases the flexibility of circuit application. After verification by CHMC SB45 process, the designed error amplifier outputs a low level of Vr, a high level of Vr+2v, an open-loop gain of 80dB, and a unit gain bandwidth of 11.9MHz. The error amplifier has been applied to PWM chips, making the maximum and minimum duty cycles of PWM adjustable, greatly improving the overall performance of the chip system.
