Abstract: This paper introduces a low-frequency digital phase measuring instrument based on complex programmable logic device (CPLD) and high-speed single-chip microcomputer STC89C58. The measuring instrument consists of two parts: a digital phase-shift signal generator and a phase measuring instrument, which respectively complete the functions of generating phase-shift signals, presetting frequency and phase difference, digital display, phase shifting of signals, and measuring and recognizing phase difference and frequency of signals after phase shifting. The digital phase-shift signal generator can generate the difference of preset frequency; the phase measuring instrument can measure and display the frequency and phase difference of phase signals.
