This article introduces the hard work of the members of the Interstellar Voyager Team of Beijing Institute of Technology in preparing for the Freescale Smart Car Competition over the past six months. The hardware platform of the smart car uses the S12 environment with the MC9S12XS128 processor, the software platform is the CodeWarrior IDE 5.0 development environment, and the car model uses the 1:10 simulation car model provided by the organizing committee of the competition. The article introduces the hardware and software structure and development process of the smart car control system. The entire system involves multiple aspects such as the adjustment of the mechanical structure of the car model, the design of the sensor circuit and signal processing, and the optimization of the control algorithm and strategy. In order to improve the driving speed and reliability of the smart car, multiple solutions were tested and upgraded, and a large number of bottom-level and upper-level tests and debugging were carried out, and finally the existing system structure and various control parameters were determined.
