This paper introduces the structure of the flash file system TFFS of the embedded real-time operating system VxWorks, analyzes its algorithm, and describes its construction steps on the SST39VF160 model flash. Finally, TFFS is used as the loading path of the VxWorks image. This loading method provides great convenience for system upgrades. Flash, as a safe and fast storage medium, has the advantages of portability and no data loss when power is off. It has now become the main data and program carrier in embedded systems. TFFS file system is a customized implementation provided by M-systems for VxWorks operating system. It provides a unified block device interface for various flashes, realizes seamless connection with Tornado, and has the characteristics of reentrancy and thread safety.
