As digital 3D software and hardware technologies mature, it has become possible to construct and test digital virtual scenes with character participation. In traditional design research, digital virtual characters cannot interact with scene objects, and virtual scenes cannot dynamically change options. However, interaction and dynamic design option change are very important functions of virtual reality simulation. To address this issue, this paper first gives a method for constructing virtual scenes with character participation based on virtual reality modeling language, and then discusses a method for testing and evaluating virtual simulation design with character participation. This research content can effectively assist and support the realization of real-time interaction of virtual scenes with character participation and test and evaluation work for characteristics such as stability, security, and human adaptability.
