Embedded operating system is one of the most widely used branches of operating system at present. Based on Linux, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the real-time problems in Linux embedded applications. Embedded real-time embedded system of Linux operating system is application-centric and based on computer technology to adapt to the application system\'s strict requirements on function, reliability, cost, volume and power consumption. The openness of Linux source code provides a very broad prospect for the application of embedded operating system. Similar to Unix, Linux is based on the kernel, with complete memory protection, multi-tasking and multi-process, making it suitable for more complex applications in embedded systems. Supporting a wide range of computer hardware, including most chips such as X86, ARM, NEC, MOTOLORA, etc., makes Linux portability not a problem. The modular design of Linux system makes it very convenient to tailor its embedded applications. Therefore, the embedded application problems of Linux are mainly concentrated on the real-time requirements of the operating system.
