It adopts all-microstrip matching network and negative feedback technology, and makes use of the new transistor device HEMT. The design is assisted by the self-written program M M Atch and the commercial software Touchstone. The gain is > 29.4dB, the gain flatness is < 5%, the noise figure is < 1.8dB, the input and output standing wave ratios are < 2.2, 1dB, and the compression point output power is > 17.9dBm in the ultra-wideband range of 0.9-3.6GHz. The amplifier is made on a 52×25mm2 polytetrafluoroethylene substrate and meets the design requirements after testing.
