This paper studies the overall solution of an intelligent security monitoring system based on Matrox image collector. The hardware design part describes in detail the design of the image acquisition module and the PTZ control module of the system. By tracking and analyzing the images collected by the camera, the control signal is generated to control the movement of the PTZ carrying the camera to achieve the tracking of the moving target. In the software design part, various tracking methods for the detection and tracking of moving targets are studied in detail and the motion target detection method based on time difference is implemented, and the overall software design of the system is completed. Practice has proved that the system has a good detection effect.
