An optimized tracking gate algorithm based on data association performance evaluation is proposed, and it is used to reduce the echoes from non-targets in the tracking gate, ultimately achieving the purpose of improving the performance of the multi-target multi-sensor tracking system. Theoretical analysis shows that compared with the tracking gate algorithm based on the hypothesis tree maximum likelihood function, this algorithm effectively improves the performance of the system, especially in the case of strong interference and high false alarm.
