The working principle of a real-time temperature detection unit for switch cabinets based on AT89C52 single-chip microcomputer is introduced. The detection unit uses infrared temperature sensor and V/F conversion to convert the temperature signal of the switch cabinet to a pulse signal suitable for single-chip microcomputer processing. After the single-chip microcomputer processes the pulse signal, the temperature value of the switch cabinet can be obtained; the change of the temperature value is displayed in real time, and an alarm signal is given if the temperature exceeds the limit. This detection unit can realize data exchange with the host computer through the serial communication interface, which is conducive to the networking of the distribution system.
