This paper introduces the composition and working principle of a power-off delay relay that uses CMOS digital circuits, digital dial switch setting, and no auxiliary power supply. The composition and function of each main circuit are explained, and the circuit diagram is given. The results show that the relay has very good expansibility due to the use of secondary energy storage technology. With a few changes, two-stage power-off delay, power-off delay with sliding contacts, power-off delay with instantaneous contacts or multiple stages can be realized.
