The encoder detects the key input, wakes up the system from the power saving state, adds 1 to the synchronization count, encrypts it with the serial number through the key to form ciphertext data, and sends it out with the key value and other data. Since the synchronization count value is different each time it is sent, even if the same key is pressed multiple times, the synchronization count automatically rolls forward, and the codeword sent will not occur again. Therefore, it is called a rolling code. The synchronization count and the encoder serial number are encrypted together with a 64-bit DES. The DES key is unique to the manufacturer and must be kept confidential. The encrypted ciphertext is transmitted through the radio frequency system.
