Traditional cochlear implant speech processors are designed with ASIC, which has high investment cost and poor portability. A cochlear implant speech processor based on TMS320VC5509A is designed. The processor uses dual microphones to receive speech signals, and realizes adaptive noise elimination and CIS (Continuous Interleaved Sampling) scheme of speech signals. The stimulation pulses obtained by DSP sampling and processing of the same speech are basically the same as the results of MATLAB sampling and processing. The experimental results show that the cochlear implant speech processor based on DSP can eliminate noise in speech signals and obtain good stimulation pulses.
