Today I will introduce the ADC module of STM32F103 MCU. In industrial control and intelligent instruments, MCU is often used for real-time control and real-time data processing. Since the information that MCU CPU can process must be digital, and the control or measurement of related parameters is often a continuously changing analog quantity, such as the temperature, pressure, speed and voltage that everyone is familiar with, it is necessary to convert these continuously changing analog quantities into digital quantities before the MCU CPU can process them. The process of converting analog quantities into digital quantities is analog/digital (A/D) conversion. The device that can complete analog/digital (A/D) conversion is called A/D converter or ADC.
