Ultrasonic waves are a process of mechanical vibration propagation in a medium, and their frequency is generally above 20kHz. Ultrasonic waves are widely used, mainly in two categories. One is to use weaker ultrasonic waves to measure and inspect various physical and chemical parameters, such as ultrasonic flaw detection, ultrasonic leak detection, ultrasonic ranging, etc. The other is to use high-intensity ultrasonic waves to change the properties and state of materials, such as ultrasonic drilling, ultrasonic cleaning, ultrasonic welding, ultrasonic crushing, etc. Due to the high intensity and high power of this ultrasonic wave, it is also called power ultrasound.
