The fiber Bragg grating is obliquely pasted on the side of an isosceles triangle cantilever beam of equal thickness. The chirp effect of the fiber Bragg grating is used to measure the bandwidth to perform sensing research on various mechanical quantities. Both theory and experiment prove that the sensing device has the function of automatic temperature compensation. In the sensing experiment of displacement, stress and other parameters, a good linear response is obtained. The sensitivity of displacement and stress sensing is 2147 nmPmm and 2.26 nmPN respectively. The experimental bandwidth of the fiber Bragg grating reaches 1515 nm.
