Abstract: This paper introduces the POCSAG coding protocol, FLEX coding protocol and the working principle based on the wireless wake-up function mode. By calculating and comparing the power consumption under these working modes, the advantages and disadvantages of various methods and the power saving are analyzed. Combining the working principle of passive radio frequency tags, a new power saving design scheme suitable for dry battery powered systems is proposed. The analysis results show that the battery life of wireless communication equipment using the passive wake-up function is extended to more than one year. Keywords: wireless communication equipment; power supply system; P o c s a g; F l e X; passive wake-up; ultra-low power consumption; passive radio frequency tag
