This book comprehensively and systematically explains the basic principles, methods and instruments for weak signal detection in strong background noise. The book is divided into three parts: the first part introduces the basic knowledge of electrical noise, including the sources of noise in circuits, statistical characteristics, calculation methods, and noise performance indicators in circuits; the second part discusses the basic methods of detecting signals in noise, including signal waveform recovery (filtering) in noise, signal judgment, signal parameter estimation and signal spectrum estimation; the third part introduces low-noise amplifier design, as well as the principles and applications of several typical weak signal detection instruments. This book not only systematically introduces the basic theory of weak signal detection, but also introduces the methods and instruments for signal detection in noise from a technical perspective.
