Focusing technology is to focus the broadband signal to a certain frequency to approximate it into a narrowband signal. The sound signal received by the microphone array has a larger relative frequency range, reaching 3 to 4 orders of magnitude. How to select the focusing frequency becomes a key issue in the estimation algorithm. In order to meet the requirements of the multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm for the array element spacing and prevent multi-value ambiguity. Based on the idea of the broadband focusing algorithm, starting from the focused narrowband signal, the influence of the array element spacing on the MUSIC algorithm is analyzed. A method of selecting the focusing frequency according to the actual spacing of the array elements is verified, and the feasibility of this method is demonstrated through simulation.
