Since micro-milling technology can make up for the shortcomings of micro-electromechanical systems in the processing of small parts, the development of micro-milling machine tools has been increasingly valued. Taking the micro-milling machine tool under development as the experimental environment, a micro-milling test system based on the MATLAB software platform was developed (different from the traditional test system), which can monitor the cutting force, cutting temperature and cutting chatter in milling. The use of the data acquisition device (NI9233) of the National Instrument (NI) company in MATLAB is introduced, as well as the application of MATLAB for data analysis and processing. Finally, the performance of the x-axis of the micro-milling machine tool is analyzed through the experiment of monitoring the vibration of the machine tool, which lays a foundation for in-depth research on the mechanism of micro-milling.
