Application of YD05 ZIGBEE wireless module in gas meter reading system

In the process of informatization of gas meter reading system, automatic copying of household meter data and non-entry meter reading are of great significance, and are also the problems that industry units are eager to solve, because the accuracy and timeliness of gas meter data copying directly affect the informatization level of gas meter reading system, even management decision-making and economic benefits. Traditional manual meter reading is time-consuming and laborious, and the accuracy and timeliness cannot be reliably guaranteed, which leads to the inability of relevant marketing and enterprise management software to obtain sufficiently detailed and accurate original data; generally, manual meter reading is done on a monthly basis, which is feasible for user metering, but not enough for related supply departments to conduct deeper analysis and management decisions. The actual needs of the industry have spawned the continuous development of the technology and application of gas meter reading system. With the continuous development of wireless communication technology, in recent years, a technology for low-cost equipment wireless networking requirements has emerged, called zigbee, which is a short-range, low-complexity, low-power, low-data-rate, low-cost two-way wireless communication technology, mainly suitable for automatic control, remote control and home equipment networking. We use zigbee technology and GPRS/CDMA technology to provide a good solution for wireless meter reading of gas meters.
