  This paper introduces the design process and methodology of digital integrated circuits based on standard cell libraries. The design process of digital integrated circuits starts with the HDL description at the behavioral level, and then goes through the steps of system behavioral level simulation, behavioral level synthesis, RTL simulation, logic synthesis, post-synthesis simulation, automated layout and routing, and post-layout simulation. It also discusses how to link the physical design environment with the logical design environment to solve the problem of physical design and logical design being out of touch.
