This article takes TRI\'s NOR Flash-based Flash management software FMM as an example to introduce in detail how to manage Flash storage in embedded systems based on the physical characteristics of Flash, and compares the performance of Flash without FMM. Keywords: Embedded system Flash FMM Flash memory is a safe and fast storage body with a series of advantages such as small size, large capacity, low cost, and no data loss during power failure. At present, it has gradually replaced other semiconductor storage components and become the main data and program carrier in embedded systems. As a functional unit for storing and managing data in embedded systems, the main function of Flash storage management is to use some specific algorithms to improve the efficiency of Flash use, speed up operation speed and manage the frequency of use of each Flash unit based on the physical characteristics of Flash itself.
