The powder jetting mixing method (DJM method) is a deep mixing reinforcement technology. In 1967, Mr. Kjeld Paus of BPA Company of Sweden proposed a soft soil reinforcement method that uses quicklime powder and in-situ soft clay to mix to form lime columns, namely the \"Lime Columns Method\", which marks the advent of powder jetting mixing technology. In 1971, Linden-Alimat Company of Sweden made lime columns on site by mixing quicklime and soft soil based on the research results of Kjeld Paus, and conducted the first field test. In 1974, it was officially patented and entered the engineering practical stage, creating a new era of powder jetting technology.
