In view of the prospect of rapid industrialization and marketization of domestic non-stop toll collection systems, this paper describes the technical development trend of international non-stop toll collection systems. Based on this trend, the technical selection and evaluation of domestic non-stop toll collection systems are discussed in detail, including: the frequency resources of the dedicated short-range communication system, the active and passive modes of automatic vehicle identification system communication, the reading and writing methods of electronic tags, and the information storage methods of electronic tags. Then, the basic technical standards in the current domestic non-stop toll collection system engineering application are given, the engineering practice of domestic non-stop toll collection systems is introduced, and the problems of its construction and operation mode are discussed. The results of this paper will help promote the development and application of standardized and normalized domestic non-stop toll collection systems.
