LabView is the originator of the concept of virtual instrument. It is a graphical software development environment launched by National Instruments of the United States. In recent years, Labview has been widely used for its unique advantages in the field of measurement and control. However, since many devices do not provide corresponding Labview drivers, many units can only purchase hardware equipment produced by NI. The promotion of Labview is limited by cost factors. CAN bus is a popular bus at present. It is the product of the development of industrial process control system from distributed control system to full digital field bus control system. It is widely used in the fields of automobile industry, process control, textile industry, robot, CNC equipment, medical equipment, intelligent building, etc. Therefore, the connection between Labview and CAN interface card and the real-time monitoring of field equipment through CAN bus can better play the advantages of both, thereby improving the real-time performance and accuracy of industrial field control system. Based on the above reasons, this paper mainly uses VC to develop a dynamic link library file for Labview to call, in order to drive the CAN card PCI-1680, thereby realizing the data transmission between the PC and the CAN bus, and then connects the upper computer and the lower computer slave through the CAN bus, realizing Labview\'s reception and processing of the data from the lower computer, and on this basis, establishes a distributed monitoring system based on virtual instruments and CAN bus. The overall structure is shown in Figure 1.
