The broadband transmission line transformer with a transformation ratio of 4:1 is studied, and an equivalent circuit model considering the mutual coupling of coils is given, and its impedance transformation characteristics are analyzed. In view of the problem that the influence of frequency change on magnetic permeability is ignored in the previous analysis of transmission line transformers, the influence of frequency change on magnetic permeability is applied to the analysis of transmission line transformer characteristics by taking the broadband transmission line transformer using NiZn ferrite as an example. The analysis and comparison of the test results show that in the analysis of the input impedance of the transmission line transformer, the influence of frequency on it exists, and considering it in the analysis of the equivalent circuit model can better match the actual value.
