Lithium battery protection circuit Lithium-ion Li+ batteries have the advantages of high energy density, long service life, no memory effect, low self-discharge and high single-cell voltage. However, strict attention should be paid to overvoltage protection, overdischarge protection and overcurrent protection when using them. The accuracy of the protection circuit is relatively high. The circuit shown in Figure 1 uses MAX1666 to form a complete Li+ battery protector. MAX1666S/V/X provides protection for 2/3/4 Li+ battery packs, including overcharge protection, overdischarge protection, battery mismatch protection and overcurrent protection. The overvoltage detection function can effectively prevent any battery in the battery pack from being overcharged. When the battery voltage exceeds the set threshold, CGO TKO outputs a high level, and the field effect transistor Q2 Q3 is disconnected to terminate the charging process. WRN outputs a low level to send an alarm signal to the battery pack controller. The battery\'s highest voltage threshold VOVT is determined by the external resistors R1 R2. The setting range is 4V to 4.4V. The resistance values of R1 and R2 are selected according to the formula
