BM2262 is a special circuit for remote control coding used in pair with BM2272. It encodes the address pin and data pin into a string of codes suitable for modulation and transmission. By changing its packaging form and application mode, BM2262 can be applied to RF (radio frequency) and IR (infrared) modulation and transmission methods. Corresponding to these two methods, there are zero to six UHF (ultra-high frequency band) data, with a total of seven application methods. BM2262 can have a maximum of 12-bit three-state address pins, providing a total of 531441 (312) address codes, thus greatly reducing the possibility of code conflicts and illegal scanning of codes for matching. This circuit can be used in automotive safety systems, garage control, remote control fans, home security/automatic control systems, remote control toys, and industrial remote control.
