This paper takes Nios II embedded soft processor as the core, uses USB control chip CH372, and designs USB communication interface based on Nios II embedded soft processor. This paper focuses on the hardware implementation of USB interface, analyzes the communication process of CH372, and writes the communication program of the lower computer and the upper computer PC. Compared with the traditional embedded design scheme, this scheme has better integrity, strong scalability and flexibility, and reduces the software development cost and hardware implementation risk. The universal serial bus USB interface technology is favored by users and designers for its convenient use, fast speed and low cost, which greatly promotes the development of scientific instruments in this direction. At present, the data transmission systems often used in industrial control, teaching, experiment and scientific research are also increasingly connected to the host using USB interface. This design is mainly based on Nios II embedded soft processor, which is a 32-bit processor that provides specific software and hardware design schemes for USB interface. The FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) device used is the Cyclone II series EP2C20Q of Altera, and the embedded USB control chip is the CH372 produced by Nanjing Qinheng Company, which realizes the USB communication design.
