Most of the existing identity-based threshold ring signature schemes cannot overcome the key escrow problem, while the identity-based signature schemes without a trusted center that can overcome the key escrow problem have the defect of low efficiency. This paper proposes an effective identity-based threshold ring signature scheme without a trusted center by using the idea of distributed secret sharing and bilinear pairings. This scheme can ensure that dishonest PKGs cannot forge ring signatures, effectively avoiding the key escrow problem. At the same time, this scheme only requires two pair operations, which is more efficient than the existing threshold ring signature schemes and identity-based signature schemes without a trusted center.
