The automatic line for mass production of electroless nickel immersion gold (ENIG) can be divided into three parts: (1) The horizontal line of pre-treatment after green paint, brushing, micro-etching or pickling, water washing, water absorption roller and hot air drying, is mainly mechanical and supplemented by chemical methods to thoroughly remove the excessive oxides on the copper surface to be plated caused by the green paint. (2) This process is operated in and out of the tank one by one, from degreasing to gold recovery and water washing, a total of about ten stations. (3) Post-treatment is changed back to horizontal line, including cold water washing, pure water rinsing, water absorption roller, hot air rapid drying and thorough re-cooling, etc., and then enters the back-end process. For example, printing white characters currently has UV type white characters printed first and slightly baked to enhance chemical resistance and shape cutting and quality inspection. It must be washed and dried online before packaging and shipment.
