Surveying and mapping is a science and technology that studies the collection, processing, management, updating and utilization of information related to the geographical spatial distribution of the earth as a whole, its surface and various natural and artificial objects in outer space. It not only studies the geometric position of ground points, the shape of the earth, the earth\'s gravity field, and the geometric form of natural forms and artificial facilities on the earth\'s surface; it also studies the theory and technology of drawing topographic maps and thematic maps of various scales in the world and local areas in combination with the geographical distribution of social and natural information. Its main subject contents include: geodesy, engineering surveying, photogrammetry and remote sensing, cartography, oceanography, mining surveying, land information science and geographic information science, etc. The service scope and objects of surveying and mapping are all fields related to the use of spatial information in the national economy and national defense construction. In recent years, with the development of science and technology, the maturity and development of computer technology, microelectronics technology, laser technology and space technology, the application of GPS, RS, GIS and digital surveying and mapping technology and advanced optoelectronic instruments have brought revolutionary changes to surveying and mapping, and new theories, new technologies and new processes have continuously enriched modern surveying and mapping technology. The rapid development of science and technology has also put forward higher requirements for the application and management of new surveying and mapping technologies. In view of this, the editorial committee of this book organized more than 20 experts and scholars to jointly compile this \"Practical Handbook of Surveying and Mapping Technology Application and Standardized Management\", aiming to promote and disseminate modern surveying and mapping technology application and management experience. The Practical Handbook of Surveying and Mapping Technology Application and Standardized Management is divided into eleven chapters. Chapter 1: The latest surveying and mapping technology standards and regulations; Chapter 2: Basic knowledge of surveying and mapping technology; Chapter 3: Application and standardized management of map compilation technology; Chapter 4: Application and standardized management of photogrammetry and remote sensing measurement technology; Chapter 5: Application of GPS global positioning system technology in surveying and mapping; Chapter 6: Cadastral surveying and mapping technology and management; Chapter 7: Application and standardized management of real estate surveying technology; Chapter 8: Engineering surveying technology and application; Chapter 9: Marine surveying and mapping technology and application; Chapter 10: National technical standards and specifications related to the standardized management of surveying and mapping technology application; Chapter 11: Laws and regulations related to the application and standardized management of surveying and mapping technology. The Practical Handbook of Surveying and Mapping Technology Application and Standardized Management has the characteristics of new content, broad technology and strong operability. It can be used as a desk tool book for production and application in relevant departments and units such as geological engineering, transportation, civil engineering, industrial and civil construction, farmland water conservancy, military defense, scientific research, tourism, geological survey and mapping departments, geographic information systems, land resources management, resource environment and urban and rural planning management, and it can also be used as a practical reference book for mathematics for teachers and students in relevant colleges and universities.
