Development of Ceramic Helical AntennaAntenna is a part designed to radiate or receive electromagnetic waves in a transmission and reception system. It is a transducer between electricity and waves, so its main purpose is to convert electrical energy into waves and radiate them. This paper uses the high directivity, broadband and circular polarization characteristics of helical antennas in axial mode form to be widely used in satellite communications (such as the Global Positioning System, GPS). Due to the high dielectric constant, high quality factor, and stable temperature coefficient of microwave dielectric ceramic materials, it has become a popular material for satellite and wireless mobile communications in recent years. This paper also uses its high dielectric constant characteristics to significantly reduce the size of the antenna. The combination of the above two characteristics is the ceramic helical antenna to be developed and discussed in this paper.
