Design of digital repeater based on GC5016 Application design: wireless communication Design of digital repeater based on GC5016 Hong Hangdi of Hangzhou Dianzi University adopts the idea of software radio and proposes a design scheme of digital repeater based on GC5016. The hardware platform of this scheme can be used for repeater design of multiple standards. For the third generation mobile communication system, various countries have proposed many different standards. It is very difficult to unify these standards. The development strategy of IMT-2000 has changed the concept of \"unification\" in the past, and has turned to formulate a more realistic transition plan based on the existing second generation system network in various regions, and proposed the concept of \"IMT-2000 family\". It gave up the efforts of consistency in air interface, network technology, etc., and devoted itself to formulating standards and intercommunication schemes for network interfaces. In the second generation mobile communication system, there are two standard systems, GSMA and CDMA. Therefore, there are problems such as multi-frequency, multi-mode, multi-system and multi-standard in the future mobile communication repeater, which puts forward a practical demand for the application of software radio technology in repeater. In order to improve the cost performance of 3G repeaters, it is a better solution to unify the hardware platform of 3G repeaters by using digital technology. In the up-conversion mode, the channel receives real data or complex data, and the output signal of the channel is formatted and added to the four output ports in the form of real or complex numbers to complete the down-conversion of the digital signal. In the down-conversion channel mode, the input clock rate of the 4 channels of GC5016 can reach 160MS/s, while the 2 channels can reach 320MS/s. The 4 groups of broadband down-conversion channels can support the UMTS standard, with a processing capacity of 115dB distortion-free dynamic range (SFDR), 16 FIR filters that can reach 255 orders, 64 parallel input/output bits, and flexible I/O options. The performance of the up-conversion channel mode is basically the same as that of the down-conversion mode. The output can be independent, the sum of one or two outputs, or the fusion of the output signals of any number of GC 5016 chips. The programmable value 1 to 4096 is used to...
