Energy consumption is a key factor that restricts the life of wireless sensor network nodes. The power consumption of wireless gas sensor nodes is much higher than that of wireless transceiver modules and microprocessors because the power consumption of their sensing elements is much higher. This paper uses a wide-voltage low-power microcontroller C61F120 and a DC voltage regulator device ME3101 with controllable working state to design a power control circuit to control the node in an alternating working/sleeping state and reduce the node\'s energy consumption. Finally, the energy consumption of the entire node circuit is analyzed. The results show that the design method given in this paper greatly extends the working life of the node.
